Ok, it’s been a while since the last report. I had a trip that wasn’t really productive, but I still managed to get some things done. And then I started taking driving classes, can you believe that? I sure can’t.
I read some more of “Ethernet: The Definitive Guide”. Not going to lie, it’s starting to become a little boring in places, but it’s still a good read. Maybe I’ll start getting picky with the chapters.
I watched quite a number of videos, but only one video actually stuck with me: HTTP/2: The Sequel is Always Worse. It’s always interesting to see just how much chaos there is in the world. If you’re interested in web technologies, I highly recommend this talk.
I didn’t get a lot of time for my programming projects, but I’ve made some progress with the patch editing utilities. In addition to actually writing the code, I’ve taken time to read some Perl documentation. I’ve read quite a lot of Perl books in my time, but it’s been a while now. Going back to this language gave me a new perspective on it and made me want to try some things I haven’t done before. Maybe I’ll keep using Perl for smaller projects and see how it goes.
Dismal
Here I covered a little bit more than just this week, so I’m going to take an average. I wish there was more I could mention here, but it’s still better than nothing.
