I’m not done with this “project” yet. I’ve been using a different machine for all my activities, and just never got round to copying my SSH keys on it.
This week I finally needed them for work, so here we are. I’m actually writing this on my old machine, so it’s not really important I suppose. Whatever.
Still reading the perfbook. I’m taking my time with it and it’s definitely worth it.
The patch manipulation tooling is almost done. This week I had an opportunity to properly test it out. Cleaning up about 10 very dirty patches still wasn’t perfectly straightforward, but still much easier than dealing with them manually. However, I managed to find some minor issues with the code, so I’ll need to take some time to fix them before I publish the code.
Instead of fixing these problems, I spent this weekend messing around with my ROCKPro64, learning how it boots, how U-Boot works and so on. I managed to boot Linux on it, so I’m satisfied for now. Next step is probably going to be optimizing the configs for both U-Boot and Linux, so far I used the default ones with very minimal changes.
Still doing the Duolingo thing.
Dismal
I’ve been a bad boy these last weeks.
