Oh how the time flies. Just recently I’ve been thinking, “well, it’s only been a couple of weeks since the last update, no biggie”. And now, what, 5 or 6 weeks after the last post, here we are.
Quite a lot has happened. Between some overtime work and other time-consuming activities, I managed to marry the best girl in the world 🥰. I’m not going to go into detail about that, so you’re going to have to trust me when I say it was very nice and sweet.
Now, back to business.
Trianglage has been achieved, but, frankly, to little point. The code works, but I spent so much time not dealing with Vulkan, I forgot much of what I learned earlier. I’ll do my best to review the code and whatnot, but who knows when that’s going to happen.
At some point I thought I was finally done with the perfbook, but then I saw Appendix C, “Why Memory Barriers?”. From the look of things, it’s going to keep me occupied for some time.
